Today, October 28, 2026, the Moon will be in the Rohini Naks…

Today, October 28, 2026, the Moon will be in the Rohini Nakshatra, which has the power to fulfill wishes and achieve goals. Today, it is recommended that you think through and write down your wishes and intentions, the steps to achieve them, and send your message to the Universe. But dream carefully—because everything envisioned under the Rohini Nakshatra has a way of coming true!
Rohini — She Who Opens the Moon’s Heart
A Vedic tale:
When the Creator Brahma gave the heavens their motion, he created constellations that would become eternal witnesses to the cosmic dance of time. The sage Daksha, wishing to strengthen harmony between the realms, gave his 27 daughters in marriage to Chandra (the Moon). Each was a Nakshatra, a divine stellar energy that guides the Moon’s path across the sky. Among all the sisters was one whose nature was especially profound—Rohini. Rohini embodied the energy of creation. Wherever she passed across the sky, seeds stirred, flowers unfurled their petals, and children were born easily. She possessed the power of Vanchana Shakti—the energy of desire that sets the Universe in motion.
As the Moon traveled on his path, he was always drawn to Rohini.
When he entered her celestial abode, his glow grew warmer, smoother, almost alive.
It was by her side that the Moon remembered why he shines:
to nourish, cool, bring gentleness to the world, and soothe hearts.
Chandra loved all his wives, but with Rohini he was different—not a god, but a soul.
He listened to her, caught every breath, and admired her ability to see beauty where others saw only emptiness. His longer stays with Rohini made her sisters jealous. Their complaints reached their father, Daksha. He grew angry, for the Moon had violated the principle of cosmic balance.
Daksha said:
“Chandra, you will wane if you do not learn to treat them equally. Disappear, drop by drop!”
And the Moon truly began to fade before their eyes. Cold engulfed the world, the waters grew bitter, and animals wandered without direction. The world needed his light to return. Then Chandra’s wives, including Rohini, stood before their father, begging him to lift the curse. But Daksha could only soften it: “Let him wane… but let him be reborn again.” Thus the phases of the Moon were born, and with them, waves of human emotion and cycles of birth and growth. Yet even after that, Rohini remained the one whose presence Chandra sought again and again.
That is why even today, when the Moon is in Rohini: wishes come true, relationships blossom, creativity becomes productive, and the heart opens to the world.
